## Smart products under power



Why smart products should be permanently supplied with power - you can find the explanation here.



Zigbee luminaires and other fixed Zigbee devices are an important part of the wireless network. Only if they are **permanently supplied with power** can they transmit radio signals to other devices and thus contribute to the stability of the network.

If a device is switched off via the light switch, it is no longer accessible - other luminaires or sensors may lose their connectors as a result. The Gateway can also only work reliably if all on devices are accessible.

If a Zigbee luminaire is de-energised, the System no longer knows its current status. Automation, schedules or scenes cannot then be executed as the device is not available for the smart home system.

## The following therefore applies to the reliable use of smart light: switch on the power and control the light smartly.

Switching on and off is done via app, remote control or button - not via the classic wall switch. In the sun, the Zigbee network remains stable, automations work reliably and your smart home reacts exactly as you expect it to
