As in previous years, Paulmann donated €10,000 to the HAZ Christmas charity.
Social commitment, environmental protection and sustainable corporate management are very important to the family-owned company Paulmann lighting. ‘We take active responsibility for our society, especially in our region,’ says Thorsten Streppelhoff, Chairman of the Paulmann Management Board. ‘That's why we support local aid organisations and projects and are very happy to support the meaningful HAZ campaign again this year.’ HAZ chief reporter Heiko Randermann expressed his gratitude for the loyal support.
In line with this value, the company has once again supported the Nina Dieckmann Foundation with a donation of €10,000. The foundation organises and finances German language support and intensive tutoring in the main subjects for children, primarily from households where German is not the mother tongue.
The Paulmann trainees once again initiated a Paulmann Advent calendar, in which all interested colleagues could participate with a voluntary monetary contribution. Attractive prizes awaited three colleagues every friday before Christmas. The collected money in the height of €944 will go to Fuchsbau (Fuchsbau – Trauerbegleitung für Kinder und Jugendliche e.V.) in Barsinghausen, and the final amount was increased once again by the Paulmann management. This meant that Paulmann trainees were able to donate a total of €2,000 to Fuchsbau. Fuchsbau is a contact point for children and young people who have lost relatives through death.
