MaxLED
Can the coated MaxLED strip also be used outdoors?
Yes, thanks to the coating, the strip has an IP44 rating (splash-proof) and can also be used outside the house. However, when installing it, please note that heat-shrink tubing (70247) is required at all joints. Please note: The ballasts must be installed in an IP20-rated enclosure!
Do all MaxLED connectors fit into every profile?
Yes, all our strips fit into all our profiles. However, if MaxLED strips are cut and reconnected, the connectors will not fit into our aluminium profiles. When using strips in profiles, we recommend installing them in one continuous length without any breaks, where possible.
Are profiles required for installing MaxLED strips?
Our MaxLED strips become lukewarm during use and therefore do not necessarily need to be installed on an aluminium rail. They can easily be stuck to wood or plastic (e.g. furniture)
How is the MaxLED Full-Line COB strip different?
In COB strips, the individual LED light points are mounted very close together and the phosphor coating is continuous. This process ensures that the light output is uniform and uninterrupted, in contrast to individually mounted SMD LEDs. Which accessories are suitable for the MaxLED COB strips?
All MaxLED accessories are compatible for switching and dimming.
Please note: As the circuit tracks and connections differ between MaxLED and MaxLED COB, connectors cannot be replaced on cut strips! [Image] 
How can the connectors on the MaxLED COB strips be disconnected?
Any connectors with crimp contacts passing through the circuit traces cannot be disconnected and reconnected.
How can the extension cables (MaxLED Flex Connector) be connected to the MaxLED COB strips?
The MaxLED COB connector sets can be used to connect or reconnect cut strips. Please ensure you select the correct type: Item no. 71051 (solid white)
Item no. 71057 (Tunable White)
Item no. 71058 (RGBW)
Combination with the MaxLED Flex Connector extension cables (Art. 70576, 70575, 70574) is only possible on one side, as the 5-pin connectors are fixed to the connector sets.
How can MaxLED COB strips be cut and reconnected?
Special connectors are required to connect MaxLED COB strips after cutting. These are available for single-colour strips (https://de.paulmann.com/p/maxled-connector-set-full-line-cob-weiss/71051) and the Tunable White variants (https://de.paulmann.com/p/MaxLED-accessories-connector set-COB-Tunable White-white transparent/71057).
How can MaxLED COB strips be routed around corners?
Corner connectors are available for the MaxLED COB strips in the corresponding light colours:

How can cut MaxLED strips be reconnected?
Cut MaxLED strips can be reconnected using the universal connector (70919). The clip-to-clip connector (item no. 70618) may only be used when connecting two uncoated strips to one another.
How do I connect MaxLED COB strips?
Special connectors are required for the MaxLED COB strips (even after cutting). For the single-colour elements, we offer set 71051 (https://www.paulmann.com/71051); for Tunable White strips, set 71057 (https://www.paulmann.com/71057) and, for RGBW strips, set 71058 (https://www.paulmann.com/71058).
Where should the MaxLED strips be cut?

What is MaxLED Stair?
MaxLED Stair strips are specially designed for lighting staircases. Strips are available for both step and handrail lighting. Depending on the length of the staircase, 1–18 steps and 1–10 m of side strip can be illuminated. The wireless sensors switch the light on when movement is detected. How can I light my staircase without a mains power supply?
