Zigbee technology allows you to control your Paulmann lighting system via a Zigbee 3.0 gateway via app or an optional remote control. The controllable features vary depending on the product: Convenient On/Off, dimming, free colour selection from 16 million hues or white tome selection (Tunable White).

The heart of the smart lighting system is the software, which turns classic hardware into smart devices and connects the components of the system to create a pleasant lighting experience. The smik lighting control system, which is essential for this, was designed and developed by Paulmann together with its partners in Europe. When developing the application level on the Gateway, the Mobile Apps, the cloud area and the voice control, the focus was particularly on high user-friendliness combined with high system security and technological future-proofing. We have used and optimised tried-and-tested market solutions as the foundation for the smart lighting control system – for example, tailor-made Linux and Microsoft Azure solutions have found their way into the smik lighting system.

Das smik Lichtsystem wurde nach DSGVO-Grundsätzen entwickelt. Die Datenschutzerklärung zeigt transparent, welche personenbezogene Daten wir erheben, wie wir mit diesen umgehen und welche Rechte du genießt. Personenbezogene Daten speichern wir nur, wenn dies technisch notwendig ist. Eine nachgelagerte personenbezogene Analyse dieser Daten findet allerdings nicht statt, auch nicht für mögliche Nutzungsdaten zur Verbesserung des Systems. Auch werden deine Daten von uns weder an Dritte verkauft noch gehandelt.

Zudem haben wir diverse Vorkehrungen getroffen, um dein smik Lichtsystem zu schützen. Hier sind einige Beispiele:

Der Einsatz von Microsoft Azure Services bedeutet für entsprechende Systembereiche state-of-the-art-Sicherheitsmechanismen.
Das Hosting von Daten wie von deinem Nutzerkonto und von notwendigen Paulmann Cloudservices findet in Deutschland statt.
Die Kommunikationswege innerhalb des Systems sowie kritische Systemdaten sind verschlüsselt. Punktuell werden persönliche Authentifizierungsmethoden genutzt und zusätzliche Sicherheitsschlüssel automatisch generiert.
Der Pflegezugriff auf die Systemadministration inklusive möglicher Daten ist nur für eine Mindestanzahl notwendiger Administratoren möglich.
Das smik Lichtsystem wird regelmäßig auf mögliche Sicherheitslücken auch von externen Experten überprüft.
